PI for the Day was founded by Steve Stanulis, a former NYPD officer, celebrity bodyguard, and licensed private investigator who spent decades working in high pressure environments both on the streets and behind the scenes. After years of real world investigations and working alongside major productions, Steve had a vision. He wanted to give everyday people the chance to experience the adrenaline, strategy, and excitement of a real investigative operation.

What began as an idea quickly evolved into an immersive experience where participants step into the role of a private investigator for a day. Instead of scripted entertainment, each mission is designed to feel authentic, challenging, and thrilling. Guests receive briefings, learn real investigative techniques, and enter the field to follow leads and gather evidence in real time.
